Pics for Sisters of Transistors

Finally some more pics up of the Sisters of Transistors wearing the outfits I made with Silvia Hoya, a Spanish designer based in Manchester! The designs we've done for them, two short dresses with cape/ angel wing sleeves and two jumpsuits, all with diamond shaped pieces.

Bespoke items

From our range of bespoke stuff, here one item we really like: baggy 7/8 length trousers in grey pinstripe fabric with bronze zips and snaps. Matching suiting jacket to follow.

Again, we have been busy with new shirts for Silverclub, which they have been recently sporting at their gig at Kendal Calling festival.

The Sisters of Transistors

As already mentioned, we have been mad busy again with some new costumes for one of Manchester's hottest bands, the Sisters of Transistors. They played live at Unconvention in Blueprint Studios on Saturday, along with the Arch Nazards and I am Kloot.

Silverclub men's collection - pics

Silverclub collections and news

Our first project as friedrichs&hoya together, the Silverclub men's collection was assembled in a manic ten days.. Everything from discussing theme - 1950s GI meets wild west romantics - to deciding on each individual designs for the members of the band to getting all the fabrics and then YES, making the whole lot. We worked frantically each night until 11 to make sure everything was ready for the photoshoot with Tim Sinclair, see photo below, more to come..


The success of this collection led to a spin-off mini women's collection, consisting of a dress, a shirt, cool baggy 3/4 trousers and a pleated skirt. Pics by Chris W. Parker with model Trudie below.




Now we are working on a new project for one of Manchester's most exciting bands, more about that later!
